To make it easy for the visitors of your website to get in touch, add a contact form to your page.
Just follow these simple instructions:
You’re going to need to install a plugin from your wordpress dashboard.
- Click on Plugins – Add New
- In the search window, type in ‘Contact Form 7’ and then click on ‘Search Plugins’
- Find ‘Contact Form 7’ by Takayuki Miyoshi and click on install.
- NOTE – Because this is a popular plugin, it has several imitators. make sure you find the right one.
- Click on activate.
You will now see that there is a ‘Contact’ option in the menu bar on your dashboard now. Now we are going to create a form.
- click on Contact, you will see a new screen and there will already be a contact form there that was automatically installed with the plugin.
- Move your cursor over the name of the form, and click on edit.
- Use the edit screen to customise the form the way you want it, then click save.
- At the top of the screen in brown is the link to the form, which you need to right click and copy.
- Go to the page or post that you want the form to be in, and simply paste the code in the text window (under the text tab, not the visual tab).
- Click save
You should now have the contact form you designed, on your page.
